For extended drum life prevent the rawhide from drying out by working conditioning oil into the rawhide. Some especially dry climates can dry a drum skin causing it to crack prematurely. Use neatsfoot rawhide conditioner as often as desired to maintain your pow wow drums, hand drums and drum tables.
